Spartanburg Regional improved their operational efficiency within the surgery department located at their Pelham Medical Center Campus. Planning resulted in a multi-phased approach that allowed partial ORs to remain functional while others are being renovated. Phase 1 consists of the shell floor up-fit of approximately 30,000 square feet. Phase 2 provides 6 additional PAC-U bays and scope processing with two new OR’s that will be shelled for a later date. All new support areas will provide comfortable spaces for physicians and nursing staff alike.
