SRHS Mary Black Campus Carolina OB/GYN

Major design considerations for Carolina OB/GYN included the consolidation of multiple practices into a centralized location, resulting in expanding the clinical care space, spanning over two floors of the medical office building on the SRHS Mary Black campus, as well as creating an interior finish refresh better relating to the patients of today. 

Understanding the challenges of the existing suites expressed by the users, the renovation addresses the need of mending the disconnect between needed patient adjacencies and creating standardization in room size such as NST and Ultrasound allowing for future flexibility, expanding the capacity of the Centering Program, redistributing under-utilized administration space, streamlining clinical care team efficiency for flexibility in phlebotomy and lab areas, and improving patient and care team experience and throughput.
